Charter Members shared a special evening social event on Monday, April 30, hosted by Wesley Commons at their new outdoor pavilion. This was a wonderful way for GWC to celebrate the 104 women who have committed to support GWC in our first year of formation.
We enjoyed fine food and drink provided by Wesley Commons and were treated to several musical performances by Louise Robinson. (RESPECT!) Gay McHugh addressed the group about giving back to one’s home community. Jeff Smith offered comments about the Greenwood County Community Foundation’s support of this initiative, and and Mary Woodiwiss encouraged all to continue to spread the word and extend a warm welcome to others as we build community within GWC and Greenwood County.
We are grateful to Wesley Commons for hosting us for a landmark, memorable evening!
