2021 Granting Timeline
Please note: GCCF Grant Application and Final Report forms have been revised for 2021 and years following. If your organization has previously applied for GCCF funding, please be sure to use the current application form.
Youth & Education
Applications will be received February 1 – February 28 and reviewed during March, with notifications given and awarded funds made available by April 30.
Innovation
The Innovation grant cycle will be offered in 2021. Applications will be received April 1 – April 30 and reviewed during May, with notifications given and awarded funds made available by June 30.
The Innovation Grant supports creative ideas that foster strategic change within the Greenwood County community. Collaboration and partnerships among organizations are expected and essential to assure lasting impact and success.
Innovation Grants are unique among those awarded by GCCF. Awards are for larger amounts and are more competitive than in our annual Community Impact grant cycles. Proposals will be considered for awards up to $50,000 total, to be disbursed within a single year or as a multi-year commitment, in this biennial grant cycle.
The Innovation Grant Application is distinct from the application used in other grant cycles and can be downloaded here.
Prospective applicants must contact Foundation staff for further details before submitting an application for the 2021 GCCF Innovation Grant and attend one of the mandatory orientation meetings about this grant process. Orientation meetings will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 (11:00 am-noon) possibly in person and Tuesday, February 23, 2021 (4:00-5:00 pm) via Zoom. PLEASE NOTE: Covid-19 protocol for social distancing and masks will be observed by all attending on Wednesday, February 17. If number of attendees requires, this meeting will also be held virtually.
