Our History – Mission

What is a community foundation?
What is GCCF?
The community foundation movement was born in Ohio in 1914 when Frederick Goff formed the Cleveland Foundation. GCCF began operations in 2011.

Our Focus Areas

Strategic grantmaking requires focused attention on specific areas of need in our community.

Those needs in the Greenwood County area are numerous, and the local resources to meet those needs are plentiful.

Community Indicators Project

GCCF asked the community to lend their voices to the Greenwood County Community Needs Assessment Survey to continue to make Greenwood County an even better place to live!
