GCCF Announces Open Granting Awards, December 2025

Greenwood County Community Foundation is pleased to announce our 2025 Open Granting awards. Eight grants totaling $30,000 were made in this cycle.

Our Open Granting award recipients are:

Alston Wilkes Society – Staffing and meeting foundational needs for the formerly incarcerated population

Beyond Abuse – support of The Children’s Advocacy Center

Community Initiatives – La Clinica Gratis floor replacement project

Food Bank of the Lakelands – Weekend Backpack program for schoolchildren

Greater Greenwood United Ministry – Patient examination tables for GGUM Free Medical Clinic

Humane Society of Greenwood – support for purchase of an animal transport vehicle

Lions Vision Services – Envision Greenwood County services for sight-impaired individuals

The Museum – Archival materials to preserve The Museum’s permanent collection
